Salsa Café, featuring Conguero's Corner
In thanks to the Klarwein family and in honor of the painter of this work of art, Mati Klarwein - a formidable friend and fellow conguero (conga player).
Opening Conguero's Corner are Jimmy Delgado, one of the world's brightest percussionists, and super conguero Wilson Chembo Corniel. I met Chembo and Jimmy when they were playing in the Big 3 Palladium orchestra at the 2008 Burghausen Jazz Festival under the direction of the great Mario Grillo (Machito Jr.) and Tito Rodriguez Jr. If you love Salsa and Latin music you must check them out.
