The vernisage of Oskar Henn’s Jazz photo exhibition was an appetizer and foretaste of the mood of the coming March 2009 Jazz festival. The event took place in the Burghausen branch of the Kreissparkasse Bank on Thursday evening March 12. About one hundred of the town’s principal Jazz fans and supporting figures gathered together to enjoy each other’s good company and celebrate the opening of the exhibition.

Along with a tasty buffet, a nice surprise for guests was the pleasure of tasting (and drinking) the fine new “Spirit of Jazz” wines bottled for the first time this year by the prominent Burghausen vintner Geith.
