Let me begin by saying that, firstly, I am not a jazz critic and, secondly, that the object of these pages is not to give some kind of long-winded intellectual discourse on the highs and lows of concerts, performances or other musical events. Rather, as a long time appreciator of most all sorts of music, I am attempting hereby to give the visitor to our site an idea of the range and quality of the Burghausen jazz scene by informal reports of events accompanied by candid photographs. This may include interviews with artists and reviews of their CDs.
